Over two structured days, we will work in the streets of Copenhagen with a balance of guided shooting, practical exercises, and personal feedback. The aim is not only to make strong photographs during the workshop, but to give you a clearer way of seeing that you can take with you afterwards.
You will work on:
- seeing and using light more deliberately
- composition and simplification
- timing and anticipation on the street
- building confidence in public spaces
- making stronger visual decisions with your own camera and lenses
Who it is for
This workshop is open to all levels. If you are new to street photography, you will get a stronger foundation and a clearer approach. If you are more experienced, the workshop will help refine your awareness, sharpen your editing choices in-camera, and challenge old habits.
Small group format
The workshop is held in a small group of 4–10 participants, which means there is time for individual guidance, conversation, and feedback throughout both days. Before the workshop, you will receive a short questionnaire so the teaching can be better tailored to your experience, interests, and goals.
Location
We will work around Nyboder, Bredgade, and the inner city, while also taking side streets and quieter paths in search of light, atmosphere, and unexpected moments. Copenhagen offers both classic and contemporary surroundings, giving us a rich mix of visual possibilities across the two days.
Schedule
Typical workshop hours are 10:00–16:00, with the option to continue longer if the group wishes. The two days build on each other, so progress becomes visible and practical rather than abstract.
Practical information
Participants arrange their own travel, accommodation, and meals. Relaxed coffee breaks during the day are included. Please come prepared for the weather, with charged batteries, empty memory cards, or fresh film. All camera brands and formats are welcome.
Meeting point
We meet at Café Mormors Bredgade 45, 1260 Copenhagen
Booking
After booking, you will receive a short questionnaire about your goals, camera, and lenses, along with practical information before the workshop and follow-up information afterwards. If you have questions, need help with the order, or prefer an invoice, you are welcome to get in touch by email.
If you would like two focused days of street photography in one of Europe’s most rewarding capitals, I would be very happy to welcome you to Copenhagen. Reserve your place while spaces are still available.
