Málaga Street Photography Workshop

February 6–7 • Small group (4–8)

Warm winter light. Salt in the air. Andalusian colour.
Join me in Málaga for a weekend focused on street photography, where we slow down, see more deeply, and turn fleeting moments into strong, personal images. We’ll work the historic centre and the waterfront—think Alcazaba, Gibralfaro, Calle Larios, and Muelle Uno—moving from geometry and shadow play to people and place, then finish by crafting a clean, repeatable editing workflow.

Bring any camera (all brands, film or digital). The workshop is hands‑on, encouraging, and simple by design—true to my “One Lens For All” philosophy.

Description

The flow and meeting place

We meet at Café Central (Plaza de la Constitución) — classic & super central.

  • Where: Plaza de la Constitución 11, 29005 Málaga Google Maps
  • Why it works: a Málaga institution with a large terrace right on the city’s main square—perfect as a visible rendezvous point before we step straight into Calle Larios / Old Town for our first light-and-geometry exercises.

Day 1 — Light, rhythm, and the frame
Morning briefing over coffee, quick setup check, and we’re out. We’ll work the Roman Theatre–Alcazaba axis for texture and depth, then roam the old town for timing exercises. Recap and small review to close.

Day 2 — People & place
We’ll chase late‑day colour by the harbour—Muelle Uno and the Pompidou’s “El Cubo”—then climb towards Gibralfaro for the golden‑to‑blue‑hour transition and layered city views. Evening recap.

All of this is organic and adjusted to the group’s wishes and rhythm.

(Depending on the city program, we may weave in Carnival street scenes—Málaga’s Carnival traditionally fills the historic centre the week before Lent—without disrupting the core curriculum.)
