Paris workshop – October 23-24, 2026

Two days of street photography along in Paris, working through the Latin Quarter and along the Seine.
Join me for a small-group workshop in one of the world’s most rewarding walking cities for street photography. Over two focused days, we will work with light, timing, observation, and storytelling in the streets of Paris — moving through side streets, river light, café scenes, and quiet details that invite a slower and more deliberate way of seeing.

This workshop is designed to help you sharpen your eye, strengthen your compositions, and build more confidence with every frame. Whether you are newer to street photography or already experienced, the teaching is adapted to your level and goals.

Description

What to expect

The workshop is built around hands-on learning in real streets and real situations.

Across the two days, we will work with:

  • observation and visual awareness
  • light and timing
  • composition and simplification
  • working with intention in busy and quiet urban scenes
  • building confidence and consistency in your street photography

The first day begins with an introduction and visual direction for the workshop, followed by guided shooting sessions in the city. The second day builds on what you learned on day one, so your progress becomes visible, practical, and repeatable.

Typical workshop hours are:

Day 1: 10:00–17:00; Day 2: 10:00–15:00

Small group format

The workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 – 10 participants. This allows time for personal feedback, individual guidance, and space to work at your own pace.

Before the workshop, you will receive a short questionnaire about your experience, goals, camera, and lenses, so the teaching can be tailored more closely to you. All camera brands and formats are welcome.

After the workshop

After you return home, you are invited to a free group Zoom critique. This gives you time to edit, reflect, and continue the learning together with the group.

Practicalities

Participants arrange their own travel, accommodation, and meals. Relaxed coffee breaks during the day are included.

Please come prepared for the weather, with charged batteries, empty memory cards, or fresh film.

All camera brands are welcome. Bring your favourite lenses.

Meeting point

We meet at Verse Toujours 3 Av. des Gobelins 75005 Paris, France

We begin with coffee or tea and a short introduction at 10:00. It is recommended to stay in the area or somewhere with easy access to the meeting point.

Booking

After signing up, you will receive a short questionnaire about your goals, camera, and lenses, as well as practical information before the workshop and follow-up information afterwards.

If you have any questions before booking, you are very welcome to get in touch.

If you would like two focused days of street photography in Paris, with personal guidance and a small-group setting, you are very welcome to join.
