Queen Mary portrait in 30 seconds

Crown Prince’s Mary will be Queen Mary today when the Queen steps back and makes Crown Prince Frederik to King Frederik 10th.

Last year I had the opportunity to take one portrait of her royal highness in Odense. After a video reportage covering the visit I was given additional 30 seconds to make a portrait. In such situations there is no time to find a better location, but mainly establish contact and trust.

Luckily the new Queen is very accommodating and friendly so that part is easy.
Congratulations to Denmark for having two highly qualified people to take on the torch after Queen Margrethe 2nd steps back today. Thank you for your service.
