Glass through glass

Glasses were shot through glass, just for the experiment of it and to test the abilities of the DMC-LC1. All shot in very low light at 100 ISO, at 1/8 and 1/2, and handheld (!)

I am surprised it was possible to hold the camera steady enough to shoot this way. There are some distortions (deliberately for the effect of it) in the pictures because all photos are shot through either a window or glasses inside a glass cabinet with reflections i.e. An interesting effect and mood came out of it.

The Panasonic DMC-LC1 (actually the same camera as the Leica Digilux 2) is famed for its quality Leica lens (Vario-Summicron 28-90mm, f2,0-2,4) combined with the 5mp sensor delivers a fine and high-quality picture. Don´t be fooled by the 5mp sensor because it delivers very fine pictures even compared with newer sensors. It isn’t all about sensors but the combination of sensor and lens.

Looking forward to putting this camera and the X100 to test at the Thorsten von Overgaard seminar in Paris in April 2013.
