Jan Grarup on the roof

A few days ago I went on a reportage to portrait international war photographer Jan Grarup. Stills were used for a video story too, adding that element reflecting Jan Grarups own world.

Jan Grarup is a world known multiple time awarded photographer travelling to the hot spots of war to share the horror and trying to change a little by opening up peoples eyes for what happens.

The story aired on TV2Fyn as Jan Grarups exhibition “Back into the darkness” opened at the art Museum Brandts in Odense, Denmark.

The portraits were shot on the roof over the apartment in Copenhagen where he lives, Here he climbs up when the mind is filled with impressions from the war zones. Seeking peace.
